Looking for accommodation in Tumut? Look no further than our beautiful ‘Resting Place by the River’.

Riverglade Caravan Park is on a site that has been a place to rest, relax and recuperate for generations.

The Tumut River and Kosciuszko National Park was the meeting place for many Aboriginal tribes, who traded and had ceremonies along the traditional pathways from the mountains to the coast.

Our parkland setting was designated as an NRMA ‘Resting Place’ in 1929. Prior to that it had been the ‘Police Paddocks’ in the 1870s when the iconic Elm trees that shade our visitors and mark our park were first planted.

We front more than a kilometre of the pristine Tumut River – great for splashing about with the kids, for fishing, thinking, watching the water flow. From powered and unpowered van and camping sites, to an avenue of the newset luxurious cabin accommodation available, we’ve got something for everyone and every budget.

Shaded and ample space to wander safely and enjoy the wildlife of the park, our serene setting is a stone’s throw from the many beautiful natural features of the Tumut Valley and the nearby Kosciuszko National Park.
